On Information Systems Artefacts
Having partially grown up in an atelier, I have got the habit of conceptualising everything around me like a piece of art. The shape, the colour ... The harmony in spaces and objects, and in words. Information systems are no exception. Just like how art piece creates a sense in every viewer, also does an information system. They are artefacts that interact with people with a purpose. They can affect people in a multi-sensual manner. Hence, their design should consider these multi-dimensional aspects.
